„To me, Cosmic Pizza is much more than just a pizzeria. The moment you walk in, you can tell there's a genuine concept behind it: dimmed lighting, music, drinks and a really relaxed atmosphere. And of course, in the end it's about the pizza. The Neapolitan dough combined with high-quality ingredients and some rather unusual creations makes Cosmic, for me, one of the most exciting pizza spots in Salzburg. I particularly love that it isn't styled as a classic Italian place. Cosmic has its own identity — a place where you only meant to grab a pizza and end up staying for a few drinks. Perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or for two."

About Cosmic Pizza
What started as a pop-up and insider tip has now found a permanent home: Cosmic Pizza on Saint-Julien-Straße in Salzburg. Behind the concept are Andy and Marc. Andy, aka DJ Cosmic, eventually swapped turntables for pizza plates and perfected his craft in Naples. Marc brings years of hospitality experience from Munich, Vienna and Salzburg. The focus is on Neapolitan-style pizza: airy dough, high heat and premium ingredients like San Marzano tomatoes DOP, fior di latte, buffalo mozzarella, pecorino or pistachios. Alongside the classics, the menu also features more unusual combinations as well as vegetarian and vegan options. But Cosmic is worth a visit for more than just the pizza. Dimmed lighting, music, wine and drinks give the place its own distinctly urban character. In the evenings in particular, a lively atmosphere develops that sets it clearly apart from a classic Italian pizzeria. The restaurant is located in the Elisabeth-Vorstadt district, just an eight-minute walk from Salzburg's main train station and eleven minutes from Mirabellplatz. Pizza is of course also available to take away.

"My favourite at Cosmic Pizza: the Bufala with San Marzano tomatoes DOP, buffalo mozzarella, pecorino, basil and olive oil. It's actually a simple combination — and that's exactly why you notice here how important really good dough and high-quality ingredients are. The creamy buffalo mozzarella, the San Marzano tomatoes and the savoury pecorino come together perfectly for me."
