Salzburg dining on public holidays
Not every day off should be spent in the kitchen, so here are my personal go-to spots.

On public holidays, I rarely feel like cooking at home. I prefer heading out to places like Gasthof Schloss Aigen or Hotel Hölle to enjoy a relaxed meal. When I need to escape the city center, Winding Gut is always a reliable choice for a more rustic atmosphere. For a casual coffee break, I enjoy stopping by Café Bazar or KAVA, and for something different, Shiro offers great options. Please keep in mind that opening hours may change on holidays, so a quick check beforehand is always a good idea. My advice: Book ahead if you can to ensure a stress-free experience.
